Описание
Practical and smart details: 2 handwarmer pockets, 4 secure outer pockets, 1 secure inner pocket, 1 mesh inner pocket to keep your belongings close at hand. Warm hood with removable fur to adapt to your needs and style.
Your short jacket is designed with a waterproof outer component that keeps out water and wind. To keep you warm in winter you must also protect your extremities (head, hands, feet). The warm hood, the elastic tightening at the cuffs and the high collar prevent the cold from entering. Two warm pockets in extremely soft fleece protect your hands from the cold.
To dress properly in winter, whatever your activity, we recommend using the 3-layer principle: layer 1: The high-tech base layer transfers moisture away from the body to keep your skin dry. layer 2: The second layer (fleece, sweater) provides warmth and transfers moisture outwards. layer 3: The jacket protects you from the outdoor conditions: rain, snow, wind. The whole outfit must be breathable in order to eliminate moisture.
We developed your short jacket for wintry conditions: cold, rain and snow. Insulation provided by wadding: 200g/sqm for the body and 150g/sqm for the arms. The lined hood also keeps your head well protected and warm. The elastic cuffs on the jacket hem and sleeves are the finishing touch to ensure your jacket is comfortable.
A fabric's water repellent property is its capacity to make water run off its surface without seeping in. This prevents the fabric from soaking up water and keeps it lightweight, warm and breathable. The water repellent property is achieved by treating the fabric's exterior. This treatment must be renewed throughout the garment's lifespan (recommended after each wash). Products (spray or liquid) for this purpose are available in our stores.
The waterproofness of a fabric, provided by a coating or membrane, is measured in Schmerbers or mm H2O (pressure exerted by a column of water). The higher this number, the more waterproof the fabric. This jacket has a waterproof component (JIS 1092 standard) resistant to 12,000mm H2O (Schmerbers) before washing.
To ensure the durability of our products, we perform tests on the selected components: resistance to rubbing and abrasion, colour fastness, resistance to repeated washing. All these tests have been carried out on the component of your short jacket.
We designed this short jacket with a comfortable fit so that it could be worn with a warm second layer such as a fleece. Its short jacket style is ideal for protecting you from the cold during your winter hikes in town or in the mountains.
Your jacket is waterproof thanks to its fully-taped seams. Waterproof tape is added to the seams inside the garment to make them watertight so that water cannot enter through the more vulnerable areas.
