Aluminium frame and crankset.
26" wheels for greater clearance.
Front/rear hydraulic disc brakes: POWERFUL AND PROGRESSIVE BRAKING
Suspension fork, Skinwall tyres for less weight, 9 speeds
Описание
Our engineers have designed a new aluminium frame. Sturdy, lightweight, and dynamic, it's designed for tackling any obstacles when out mountain biking.
Powerful, progressive braking thanks to the front and rear hydraulic disc brakes.
A bedding-in process is required. On a flat, dry road, perform 3 sets of 10 progressive brake applications at increasing speeds. 1) Ride at 15 km/h, brake down to 5 km/h, and repeat 10 times. 2) Ride at 20 km/h, brake down to 5 km/h, and repeat 10 times.3) Optional (kid's bike): Ride at 25 km/h, brake down to 5 km/h, and repeat 10 times.Between each step, release and ride for a few dozen metres in order to ventilate the disc. This bedding-in process optimises the pad/disc adhesion.
This bike is equipped with speed control levers that are controlled using the thumb and index finger, allowing effortless changes between the 9 speeds. The chainset has 152 mm cranks and is equipped with a double chainguard to prevent derailment. The 32-tooth single chainring and 11-36 cassette make it easy to change gears. They allow you to tackle gradients with a single control. So you can stay focused on steering.
This mountain bike has an adjustable fork for clearing obstacles (roots, rocks, stones...) with peace of mind thanks to its 80 mm travel.
A saddle with a sporty design, designed with care and adapted to the morphology of children. Comfortable combined with a durable, flexible aluminium seat post.
To hone your steering, we have equipped this mountain bike with a short aluminium stem (60 mm) and a 620 mm oversize handlebar. This makes you more precise and responsive on turns.
The new aluminium chainset has a 152 mm crank that is suited to the child's leg length. This light chainset allows you to start pedalling more easily. The double guard over the chain stops it jumping.
The double-walled aluminium rims are light and resistant. To transport your bike, we've made it easier to remove/install the front and rear wheels with a quick release system. The wide 26"x2.2 Skinwall tyres provide good traction and comfort. The 26" inner tube is compatible with tyre cross-sections of 1.7 to 2.2 with Schrader valves. The tyre pressure is shown on the sidewall (between 2 and 3.5 bars).Tubeless ready rims.
As required by standards, this MTB is equipped with a bell, lighting, wheel reflectors and platform pedals. The frame is also compatible with other accessories: - front and rear mudguards - stand - bottle cage - saddle/handlebar/frame bag
Length: 171cm.Height: 100cm. Width: 62 cm.
Top tube length: 535 mm Seat tube length: 355 mm Chainstay length: 425 mm Seat post length: 300 mm Head angle: 68°
For smoother shipping, our bikes come with their pedals removed and the handlebar unscrewed (instructions and tools are supplied)
13.7kg
The photos or videos on the bike's description show specific drive train parts, particularly the cassette and the derailleur. However, depending on our component procurement process, an equivalent derailleur and cassette from a different brand may be present on the bike.
