The further your skeg is positioned towards the front, the more control you will have with your longboard. The further it is positioned towards the rear, the more drive (contact with the waves and stability during use) you will have. In a central position, you have a compromise control and drive. This skeg is designed to be mounted with two side fins on mid-length boards. You can also use it with single fins.
