The canvas is cotton so it must be absolutely dry before storing to avoid damp. It is also important to keep the fabric clean and to deal with stains as quickly as possible. It is advised to wipe away dust with a soft brush. DO NOT KEEP IN A DAMP LOCATION.
The Polycotton, also known as Technical Cotton, has the following benefits: - Better resistance to UV rays, - Greater breathability than a traditional polyester tarp, - Longer life cycle, - A lighter tarp than a 100% cotton tarp. However you must be careful as Polycotton is a fabric that needs particular attention when drying and cleaning stains.
This tarp connects to our TEPEE 5.2 Polycotton tent (not included), but it can always be used alone. It can be used in multiple configurations, as an extra living space in front of your tent or an additional shelter for protecting your belongings against the rain and wind. Not only can you peg it to the ground, but you can also use any trees that are available.
Our Polycotton technology relies on a fabric with UPF 50+ sun protection. Caution: a large amount of UV rays can pass through the sides. Protect your skin with sunscreen.
As designers and practitioners who love our playground, we care about the robustness of our products. That's why all our tents are designed to be repairable. Spare parts and pole repairs are available at the workshop of your Decathlon store or on our website.

Our camping tarps have been designed for occasional outdoor use (4 weeks per year) when camping or in the great outdoors. Continued exposure to UV rays over several weeks can damage the fabric. These products are not classified as “garden furniture” and aren’t designed to be left outdoors permanently. To guarantee maximum robustness of your tent, it's important to store it in a dry place when not in use.
