A leader is recommended in most situations. Firstly, it absorbs the force of the most powerful casts, letting you reach long distances with a small diameter mono or braid. Secondly, it considerably increases your chances of extracting a carp from an obstacle thanks to its high abrasion resistance. Thirdly, it protects the fish from being cut by the main line (generally a relatively thin line).
- High abrasion resistance (laboratory tested). - Extremely high strength relative to diameter (laboratory tested). - Highly flexible to make tying joining knots easier. - Low memory thanks to a special manufacturing process. - Very discreet, using camouflage that is effective on most bottoms (brown, yellow, green).
