All our gloves are laboratory tested using a "thermal hand". The minimum temperature ratings (recommended and limit) are based on a study carried out on a panel of 23 testers exposed to temperatures ranging from 5°C to -20°C and a wind of 10 km/h while walking. For the Sprint glove: - Recommended temperature = -5°C - Lower temperature limit = -11°C
We measure a fabric's resistance to a water column, in mm (based on the ISO 811 standard). The higher the water pressure resistance, the more waterproof the fabric. Waterproof rating of Sprint gloves: our gloves are made with a membrane that can withstand a pressure of 10,000 mm after 5 washes.
The preformed construction for hands and fingers enable precision ice axe or rope handling. The palm is in full-grain leather and the seams have been positioned over the areas least prone to rubbing, offering greater resistance and a longer life span. The fingertip structure allows for an excellent guarantee of dexterity and grip. The Pittards® reinforcements improve the grip further and boost resistance.
Elastic loop to keep the gloves around your wrists if you need to take them off. Easy to adjust the wrist thanks to an easy and quick adjustment system that can be used with one hand. These gloves have clips that can be used to pair them for easy storage
