To prospect as much surface as possible, you can use linear motions with your frog by pulling on the rod in short bursts whilst reeling in your line. If you want to insist in a specific zone, you can use a “Walking the dog” movement!
For fishing with this frog, we recommend using it with: - a rod with a MEDIUM HEAVY (MH)/HEAVY (H) casting weight with an ultra-fast action - A spinning reel size 150/200 - A braided line of 18/100 to 25/100 depending on the dimensions - A fluorocarbon leader in 70/100 if you’re fishing for pike. For fishing black bass, we recommend fishing directly with a braided line, with no leader or snap.
