Lower and more penetrating trajectories than a hybrid with the same loft
Описание
The graphite UST Mamiya Recoil 95F3 shaft is offered in the 900 mid speed set. We have selected this shaft for their quality, after verifying that their performance was wholly comparable to that of steel NS PRO 850GH shafts in terms of ball speed, spin rate, distance, and spread. WEIGHT: 91-92 grams SHAFT: Graphite RIGIDITY: Regular TORQUE: 2.7 - 3.5 ° FLEX POINT: Middle TIP: 0,355 inch
Utility irons sold as single clubs 3-IRON: Loft 19° - Lie 60° - Length 39" - Swingweight D2 4-IRON: Loft 21° - Lie 61° - Length 38.5" - Swingweight D2 The forged face is made of 455 steel to maintain a great feel and to ensure continuity with the 900 set. The moulded hollow head is made from 17-4PH steel.
Weight of S2 grip: 51 grams Length: 26.5 cm Diameter: 2.7 cm
The utility 3-iron and 4-iron aim to offer powerful but precise first strokes on long 3-par holes and/or for taking on the green from a distance. Built like an iron, these 2 utilities have been developed as a continuation of the 900 set for perfect design consistency. Your ball trajectories will be more penetrating than with a classic hybrid.
We have defined 2 lengths of club. Do not hesitate to watch the online video or visit a store to select the size that suits your game. - Size 1 if your hand/ground distance is less than 78.5cm - Size 2 if your hand/ground distance is more than 78.5cm
3 shafts for 3 speeds. For each speed, we selected the shaft that will provide the best distance/accuracy ratio. We carried out this study with around one hundred golfers, which allowed us to categorise golfers’ swings into 3 groups: slow, mid, and high speed.
Firstly, a simple question: you’re on the fairway, just under 135 metres from the flag – which club do you choose? - 5-iron or hybrid: you have a LOW SWING SPEED (< 70 mph for 7-iron) - 6-iron or 7-iron: you have a MEDIUM SWING SPEED (between 71 mph and 82 mph for 7-iron) - 8-iron or 9-iron: you have a HIGH SWING SPEED (> 82 mph for 7-iron) Feel free to visit a store to use the measurement tools available to accurately measure your swing speed
Test clubs are available in Decathlon stores with a golf simulator. To find your nearest store offering the test, contact your usual Decathlon golf department. It is not possible to test the utility irons via our website.
