To make sure they stay warm and dry, we recommend using the 3-technical-layer rule: - Layer 1 or a second skin, to stay dry. - Layer 2 or an insulating layer, to keep the heat in. - Layer 3 or a protective layer to protect against the elements.
Pull the elastic at the bottom of the snowsuit over the boot. This technique prevents snow and draughts from getting in and keeps their feet warm and dry.
The waterproofing of a fabric by a coating or a membrane is measured in Schmerbers or H20 mm (pressure of a water column). The higher this number, the more waterproof the fabric. This snowsuit is rated to 5,000 mm H₂O (Schmerbers): the pressure exerted by a 5-metre column of water.
