Used on its own, hemp would not be very comfortable or supple. To give you an idea, it would feel more like a hessian sack. The trick of combining cotton fibres with hemp fibres gives you the benefits of both components to create Bermuda shorts that are hard-wearing, comfortable and lightweight.
Hemp is a natural fibre renowned for its strength, durability and comfort, and has been used for centuries. It requires little water and little fertiliser to grow. Of course, the main advantages of hemp are that it is both strong and lightweight, that it absorbs moisture and therefore perspiration in hot weather, and that it is antibacterial.
5 pockets, including the iconic cargo pocket, a zipped pocket for securing important items and D-ring directly available on the belt loop. 3 direct-access pockets for added convenience: 2 at the front, 1 at the back. Did you notice the long reinforcement on the right pocket? It’s a clever extra detail to make sure your knife doesn’t damage the stitching. The design of the crotch incorporates a gusset that has been specially constructed for greater durability.
