Warmth is provided by the polyester wadding fill.
The CW900 insulated jacket has been designed for golfers who want to keep warm in cold weather (temperatures between 0 and 10°C). For this, we chose a "ball fibre" polyester wadding. These are small balls of wadding with a warmth-to-weight ratio almost equivalent to that of down. This type of wadding has the advantage of being much easier to care for. Unlike down, it doesn’t clump together in damp weather or when machine-washed.
Our teams of component engineers have developed an outer fabric that meets the demands of winter golf. The CW900 jacket is windproof and water repellent to allow you to play comfortably in cold wind, damp conditions and even light rain.
The CW900 jacket is available in a women’s and men’s version. The cut of the CW900 jacket has been designed to keep you perfectly comfortable for playing golf, while remaining stylish. The back is slightly longer than the front to protect the lower back, which is more exposed in winter. A wadding pad has been inserted in the collar so that it fits snugly but never gets in the way during the golf swing.
You’ll be wearing this insulated jacket all winter and at some point it will need to be washed. But the less you wash it, the more it retains its thermal insulation and water repellency. Our advice: 1/Machine wash with a detergent for down or technical sportswear, at 30°C, with 2 or 3 tennis balls. Gentle spin. 2/Tumble dry on cotton setting, with 2 or 3 tennis balls, repeated 2 or 3 times until completely dry.
