These snowboarding salopettes are equipped with the RECCO® system. With RECCO® technology, you can be located in the event of an avalanche. Someone who is equipped with RECCO® reflectors and is buried in the snow can be quickly and accurately located by the emergency services using the RECCO® tracker. RECCO® reflectors are not a substitute for an AVD. The RECCO® technology works as a complementary measure, increasing the chances of being found in time.
For the two years of guarantee, if your product can be repaired, the repairs (hooks, seams, zips, etc.) are done at no cost to you. Beyond this period, they can still be done at the relevant rate, locally at your usual shop.
Our snowboard trousers are guaranteed for 5 years. We offer repairs locally if your trousers are damaged. Contact us on our website to find out more about how to get your product repaired. We take particular care in choosing all the elements and assembly processes that make up our ski and snowboard trousers so they are as durable as possible.
The water-repellent feature makes water run off the fabric without seeping in thanks to a treatment applied to its outer surface. The fabric does not soak up water and stays light and warm. This treatment must be renewed during the life of the product, after 2 to 3 washes on average, using the products available in our stores. All the waterproof trousers that we design for snowboarders are water-repellent.
As well as the waterproof fabric, we enhance the waterproofing of the salopettes with taped seams. These are heat-bonded waterproof strips placed on the seams inside the clothing to make it perfectly watertight. All seams are taped on the entire skiing outfit?
A membrane is an extremely thin component (between 5 and 25 micrometres) applied to the internal surface of a textile substrate to give it excellent waterproof and breathable capabilities. Our membrane components stop water getting inside while allowing the water vapour generated by your body to pass through, when snowboarding.
To keep your legs warm and dry, 2 layers of clothing are enough: - 1 ski base layer to wick away perspiration. - 1 ski trouser to protect against bad weather and provide warmth.
Our salopettes and trousers have elasticated gaiters which can be adjusted around the boots. If you fall or are in fresh snow, the seal keeps the snow out.
To optimise the performance of your trousers, we recommend the following: * Machine wash at 30°, synthetic programme. * Turn the product inside out. * Add a small amount of detergent. No softener. * We recommend you wring it by hand. * Dry on a hanger in a warm, well-ventilated place. Do not dry clean. Do not place on a radiator. You can restore the water resistance of the outer fabric using a fabric waterproofing spray. Read the care label.
