The choice of metals for our kitchen utensils is vital to ensure performance, durability and safety. For this grill, we’ve chosen aluminum: a lightweight, sturdy metal that’s an excellent heat conductor. It allows for quick, even cooking, and is also easy to transport. It has a non-stick coating that makes it easy to clean. This choice ensures practical, reliable and suitable use of open air cookers, even on a direct flame.
To ensure your grill continues to work meal after meal, we’ve opted for Whitford’s Xylan+ PTFE coating. This non-stick champion combines quality with durability. With no PFOA, it’s ready to handle all your recipes. Use it with soft utensils that won’t damage the coating. To clean, use with a soft, non-stratch sponge.
This grill can be used with any type of heat source (wood, gas, induction, etc.). It has a retractable handle that’s lockable (unlocks) by pushing (pulling) on the metal part positioned at the bottom. Be careful as when using on campfires, the grill handle can heat up owing to the effect of the flames.
Before first use, rinse 3 times in clean water. After use, wash with soapy water then dry before storing in a dry place.
To ensure you don’t damage it, never heat up the grill while it’s empty. When using with a wood fire, make sure that the flames do not directly touch the handle, it could get hot. Finally, always make sure you’ve locked the grill handle securely in place when using it.
All of our products and materials meet current food contact standards and do not contain Bisphenol A (BPA) in compliance with current French regulations.
