This PLUS tool box contains 8 tools: - Quick-release clasp - Crimping pliers for cables and housings - Chain tool - 8 mm Allen key + adaptor - Freewheel remover (lug wrench) - Cassette remover - Chain whip
- Chain tool The chain keel is used to remove the chain links.Safely shortens or repairs the chain. Just place the side of the link to be opened in the recess on the tool.Once the chain tool screw is properly aligned with the rivet, turning the screw will pull out the rivet. - Cable and sheath cutter Use these crimping pliers to cut brake cables and housing or derailleur housing.
- Quick-release clip The quick-release clasp is for removing and installing the chain's quick link. The perfect way to quickly remove links when carrying out repairs. - Freewheel remover Removes the rear freewheel.Attaches using a 24 mm flat spanner or 8 mm Allen key. - Cassette remover Ideal for changing a worn cassette or adapting the transmission.Use the same tools as the freewheel remover.
- Chain whip Essential for locking the cassette during disassembly to prevent it from rotating. This tool is compatible with most cassettes with more than one speed.The numbers 10, 11 and 12T on the tool refer to the number of teeth on the smallest sprocket.Count the number of teeth on the smallest sprocket on your cassette and set the removable pin to the corresponding number to lock the cassette when loosening it.
Organised intuitively, with each tool exactly where you'd expect it to be so that you don't have to look for it. The foam is designed to do away with the hassle of tools falling out when you're putting you're toolkit away: instead, tuck each tool neatly into place, where it'll stay even when you close the box.The PLUS toolkit can be used as a complement to the START and ULTIM toolkits.
