Of course, our tarp will effectively protect your 420 trampoline from damage from weather conditions such as rain, snow, or even UV rays. However, the greatest benefit of a tarp is that it protects the flexible parts of the trampoline (jumping surface, protective foam, net) from decomposing plant matter and dirt which can transform into a muddy mess in poor weather. This can affect the durability of the seams.
The protective tarp for our 420 trampoline installs in just a few seconds. After taking down the posts and protective net in a single motion using our easy, unique attachment system, just place the tarp over the trampoline and attach it very quickly using the eight adjustable clip-on straps.
The tarp is made of rain- and UV-resistant watertight polyethylene. The attachment buckles are made of polyoxymethylene, which gives them great tensile strength. The adjustment straps are made of polypropylene, a very durable component used for boat moorings.
Our cover was designed in partnership with our user community who have praised its durability, waterproofing and ease of installation. However, the cover does have some downfalls due to this fabric. Being completely waterproof, you need to remove the water that accumulates on top after it rains. If that's not an option, make a small, pencil-sized hole in the centre of the cover so that surplus water can automatically drain.
All our tarps have undergone many additional tests by accredited external laboratories to ensure that they do not present any health risks to our youngest users (Phthalates, Formamide, bisphenol A, S).
