LINEAR FISHING Simply cast and retrieve your lure horizontally with a lowered rod. You can also vary the retrieval speed with your reel: accelerations, short pauses, etc. TRACTION FISHING (ZIGZAG) When predators are slower and hiding in weedy areas (grassy beds, obstacles) you can choose to let your lure drop into these areas and then use your rod to make it make a zigzagging motion.
For pike fishing with this soft lure, we recommend that you use: - a rod with an H or XH casting weight - a spinning reel from size 3000 or casting from size 200 - a braid of at least 16/100 - a fluorocarbon leader of at least 70/100 - a clip from n° 2 (25 kg)
