The shape of the 6 m² wing has been designed with a lower ratio than the rest of the range. This makes it possible to reduce its wingspan and lower the risk of touchdowns encountered by wings with a large surface area.
Comfort and stiffness, the perfect combo to enjoy wing foiling in all conditions! Its stiffness and shape provide excellent power delivery for easier take-off while remaining controllable in stronger winds. Its ergonomic handles and reduced wingspan provide ideal comfort during your longest sessions. Available in 3 m²/4 m²/5 m² and 6 m²
Whether you are an advanced or beginner rider, this wing foil wing will allow you to have fun on the water without getting tired during your freeride sessions, thanks to its reduced wingspan and its comfort. Our WNG500 wing has been designed with a compact shape, its reduced wingspan saves space and makes it easy to handle. Its sweeping outline combined with an increased tube diameter gives your wing plenty of stiffness. Its progressive dihedral allows great stability without blocking the yaw too much, for easy manoeuvres. Its S-shaped strut optimises riding comfort while maximising canopy tension.
Canopy tension has been maximised to give you direct feedback from your wing. Its radial cuts, directional material as well as strategically placed reinforcements have been designed to ensure your wing keeps its shape session after session. Thick woven monofilm windows placed vertically on the wing let you see downwind whatever direction your wing is pointing.
The WNG500 wing has soft handles, for greater comfort while reducing the risk of damaging your board. The ergonomic handles with a 27 mm semi-circular profile have been stiffened to make them more responsive. The front handle, positioned forward on the strut, provides ideal balance and power management. The rear handle has been extended to make it easier to adjust the power of your wing.
The smaller diameter freefly handle provides better control of your wing. The back of the handle is neoprene lined to reduce friction and discomfort when surfing.
The leading edge and the centre strut are separate, this allows you to manage the pressure of the 2 tubes independently, reduces the risk of failure caused by the One Pump, makes it easier to replace your tube if necessary and allows for faster deflation. The recommended inflation pressure is 8 psi, this can be reduced to 6 psi in the leading edge to improve comfort in strong winds.
The WNG500 wing has integrated high pressure valves. They make inflation easier by giving you better pressure control and allowing you to deflate your wing in one step. Integrating them into the bladder reduces the risk of them getting tangled with the leash. Compatible pumps: ref.8642249 - recommended for rigid boards ref.8543028 - recommended for inflatable boards: use the same pump to inflate your board and your wing.
Kevlar reinforcements are strategically placed in areas that could come into contact with the ground for maximum strength. The reinforcements reduce canopy flapping and damage.
