When hiking, trekking or on a multi-sport raid, navigation is important; so we designed this soft pouch to carry and secure your travel maps. And because outdoor activities mean bad weather, it's essential that your maps are protected in a waterproof case. What's more, this map holder protects your maps from repeated handling, so you can fold and roll them as much as you like!
We have listened to your feedback and decided to equip this new map holder with a double transparent side so that you can read your hiking maps on both front and back. In addition, this pocket also perfectly accommodates the three sides of an IGN map: no need to damage the map by folding it in all directions, it goes straight in! Finally, you can fold and roll this map holder with the help of the practical roll-top which can be adjusted to your map.
This map holder has an IPX4 protection rating. This means that it’s suitable for all weather conditions and is not affected by storms or rain. It is waterproof, resistant to splashes, dirt and strong water projections, but is not submersible. For added protection, we've also fitted this case with a locking system that you'll love; it’s composed of a waterproof zip, a roll-top, and a rip tab: great!
So that you can keep your hands free during your treks, which sometimes (not to say often) include climbing and scrambling, we have provided this map holder with a cord to be worn around the neck and adjusted to your liking. This cord is equipped with a safety device that can be detached in case you get caught in a branch during your activity. Finally, this case can be carried in both directions: horizontally and vertically. Practical, isn't it?
