Ultra stretch nylon exterior and smooth neoprene foam
Description
A scratch from a fingernail or a tear in split neoprene is very easy to repair at home. Make sure the area is completely clean and dry. Apply a thin layer of the special neoprene adhesive (8501850) to both edges of the tear. Leave to dry for 2 to 3 minutes until the glue no longer feels sticky to the touch, then press the two edges firmly together for a few seconds. The bond is immediate and long-lasting.
Split neoprene provides ideal thermal insulation, but the exposed foam is susceptible to cuts. To prevent tearing and scratches from fingernails when putting on or taking off the garment, the use of soapy water or lubricant is essential. Handle the garment with the palm of your hand, without pulling on the seams. If there is a tear, apply some specialised neoprene glue.
The high waist features a smooth neoprene inner band that sits snugly against the bottom of the jacket, preventing water from seeping in at chest level. The lower legs feature smooth, folded neoprene cuffs to ensure perfect waterproofing around the ankles whilst making it easier to put on with booties.
Made from ultra-flexible Sheico neoprene with a stretch elastane lining, these trousers offer excellent freedom of movement whilst swimming. The GBS assembly (glued and then stitched without piercing the foam) ensures optimal waterproofing of the seams. The eco-friendly Dope Dyed dyeing process guarantees colour fastness over time.
Subject to significant friction against the rock, the knees are protected by wide reinforcements made from Supratex, an ultra-resistant yet flexible material. To make care and storage easier after your dives, the trousers feature two reinforced side loops, allowing you to hang them up easily to dry without distorting the neoprene.
