Description
All our crampons have been designed and manufactured in our factory in Chamonix (France), at the base of Mont Blanc. In the field, they are put to the test by our team of partner athletes and high-altitude guides.
14 point crampons: - 1 hot forged vertical front point (replaceable) + 1 spur front point (fixed) - Second row of dual points giving you both stability on steep ice and the option of hooking - A third row of 2 short points letting you hook with the second row - 3 heel spurs - Small point under crampons for hold on cauliflower ice
- Back binding system:removable back heel for shoes with rear welts - Flexible back binding system: automatic with metal brackets for the shoes with front welts - Note:the binding systems at the front and back are fully removable and can be replaced with all other fastening systems in the SIMOND crampon range (sold separately).
- Adjusts to boot sizes from 37 to 47. - Size adjustment using the centre bar + strip/stud. For smaller boots, you can prevent bar sticking out at back of crampons, by attaching it with a screw at the front of linking bar (screw supplied with crampons).
- Crampons are supplied with anti-bot plates.They help to prevent build up of snow under the crampons for safer climbing.
- Crampons are supplied with a crampon bag.
- Rust resistant surface treatment on all metallic parts.
Product CE certified in line with the standard EN 893:2019;UIAA 153:2018 (to the exception of §2.2)
