Important: this tool is not suitable for all chains. It cannot be used for chains: Wide or reinforced chains. Chains with a width that exceeds 7.5 mm. Rivets with a diamter of 3 mm or more.

Use the chain tool to remove the rivets on your chain link or to replace your chain.And, if necessary, to add length to the chain.Just place the side of the link to be opened in the recess on the tool.Once the chain tool screw is properly aligned with the rivet, turning the screw will pull out the rivet. Please note, not compatible with reinforced chains.
Positioning Set the chain on the small bracket/sprocket or derail it to make it slack. Removal Use pliers if you have a quick link.If not, push out a rivet using the appropriate tool. Tip Avoid sudden jerks by using a hook or derailing the chain. Shortening The tool can also be used to remove links. Re-installing For safe and fast installation, use a quick link.
