For 26" inner tubes and wheels.
Description
Diameter: 26" Width: 2.00 Tyre bead: Stiff Assembly: Tube Type (inner tube) Rubber: single-compound Puncture protection: no Carcass: 22 TPI ETRTO: 50-559 Weight: 815 g
To measure the wear on your tyres and to know when they need replacing, you need to inspect the tread. Usual signs of wear include: - you can see the protective strip (or underlay) beneath the tread. - if the tread pattern on your bicycle tyre has worn away. If either of these two conditions is met, we recommend that you change your tyre.
To remove a worn tyre, first deflate the inner tube once the wheel has been removed. Press on the sides to remove the tyre from the rim. Then use DECATHLON tyre levers (ref. : 8930710) to lever and remove the tyre over the edge of the rim. Attach a tyre lever on a spoke and repeat the operation until one side is completely detached.
Start by mounting one side of the tyre, paying attention to the direction of rotation (if indicated). Then add the slightly re-inflated inner tube to the tyre and mount the last section onto your rim, starting at the valve to avoid pinching.
Before inflating your tyre, check that it is properly fitted. Once this step has been completed, check the inflation recommendations indicated on the sidewall of the tyre. Inflate to the pressure indicated.
