Description
For many years, Kipsta has worked with goalkeepers playing in the French Ligue 1 and Ligue 2 to develop and approve its products. For the 2021/2022 season, Jean-Louis Leca (RC Lens), Jeremy Vachoux (US Dunkerque), François-Joseph Sollacaro (AC Ajaccio) and Mehdi Jeannin (FC Sochaux) will be wearing the F900 gloves on the pitch. Thierry Malaspina (RC Lens) and Christophe Lollichon (Chelsea FC) are also Kipsta partners.
The new 900 gloves range has been co-developed with our technical partners as well as with more than 150 goalkeepers who helped us to identify their needs and approve our technical solutions. The technical development phase was a collaboration between our Lille-based design centre and our European factory. These new gloves are the result of more than a year of development.
The gloves were tested at each stage of development in order to validate them. After that, more than 20 ambassadors tested how well they technically to goalkeepers' needs. These tests were certified by our certification department, which consists of qualified field test engineers who establishing specific protocols and tests relating to how the products will be used. These tests check things like grip, robustness and fit.
Hours and hours of feedback, discussions and tests have gone into making these gloves just what professionals expect. We've chosen to give them a specific cut based on the areas that come into contact with the ball the most, which means we've only used latex where actually necessary (this reduces the cost of the gloves). We've also paid close attention to the back of the hand, with a shape that really flattens the glove against the hand.
Our new 900 gloves have 3.5 mm gigagrip latex combined with 3 mm of foam to help you grasp the ball. We've chosen this latex because it offers the best balance between grip and robustness for advanced-level gloves.
Specific seams for maximum ball feel. The versatile cut, ultra-slim fit and mesh fabric guarantee a safe catch.A glove that feels like a second skin
The "X Strap" technology ensures that the gloves sit perfectly on your hands during use and means you don't have to worry about them when catching the ball.
The silicon punch zone on the back of the hand ensures you get distance on the ball when making clearances.
The new fastening system gives you the perfect fit in just one motion. What's more, it won't budge when you dive thanks to the silicone positioned on the contact areas. The great thing about this product is that you can choose whether to use the system or not, depending on the conditions and your needs.
