This hybrid shape with a low rocker allows you to catch the wave very early on. If you’re not an experienced rider, it’s best to choose the next size up (7’) unless you’re a small build. For an experienced surfer, this is the ideal board for small conditions when you want to surf sweeping curves. Lift and ease of handling are its 2 main qualities.

Low rocker, single concave at the front to channel water under the board for acceleration, V at the back for an easier rail-to-rail transition.
Surfboard supplied with 3 fins for FCS1 fin box. Once the fins are positioned in the plugs, tighten the screws until hand tight using the tool supplied.
Hand-laminated hybrid board. 30 kg/m3 EPS foam blank. Top: 3 fibreglass layers (4 oz, 6 oz, 6 oz) Bottom: 2 fibreglass layers (6 oz, 6 oz) Rails: 2 fibreglass layers (6oz, 6oz) Epoxy resin Hot coat PU 5mm Paulownia wood stringer.
We chose this type of construction for our surfboards, because it offers numerous advantages. -The epoxy resin is more resistant to impacts/dents than polyester resin, which makes the board more durable. The board will also be more responsive and capable of generating more speed. - EPS (expanded polystyrene) foam floats better, so for the same volume you have more buoyancy than a polyester/polyurethane board.
