wide at the front and low rocker for easy paddling and take-off. 49 L.
Narrower round tail and thruster set-up (3 fins)
Board weight: 4.2kg +/- 200g without fins.
Description
Surfboard supplied with 3 fins for FCS1 fin box. Once the fins are positioned in the plugs, tighten the screws until hand tight using the tool supplied.
When you buy online, the surfboard is packaged in a Flexi Hex® honeycomb case in a strong cardboard box. There’s no more plastic packaging. Clever! The case can be reused in your surf bag to protect it when you’re on the move.
This board is ideal for anyone who wants to make progress after learning how to surf on a foam board. The shape is designed to catch the wave early and to make series of turns on the shoulder of the wave. Ideal for waves between hip and shoulder height. A more experienced surfer will be able to use it in bigger waves, while still avoiding very hollow waves, which are less suited to this board.
7’ X 21" 1/2 X 2" 3/4 213.4 X 54.6 cm X 7 cm Weight: 4.2 kg without fins +/- 200 g Volume: 49 L
Hand-laminated hybrid board. 30 kg/m3 EPS foam blank. Top: 3 fibreglass layers (4 oz, 6 oz, 6 oz) Bottom: 2 fibreglass layers (6 oz, 6 oz) Rails: 2 fibreglass layers (6 oz, 6 oz) Epoxy resin Hot coat PU 5 mm Paulownia wood stringer.
Low rocker, single concave at the front, V at the back for easier rail-to-rail transition.
We chose this type of construction for our surfboards, because it offers numerous advantages. -The epoxy resin is more resistant to impacts / dents than polyester resin, which makes the board more durable. The board will also be more responsive and capable of generating more speed. - EPS (expanded polystyrene) foam floats better, so for the same volume you have more buoyancy than a polyester/polyurethane board.
