100 g/sqm wadding. Fleece lining at the seat + warmseat=54% more warmth.
Waterproof coating 10,000 mm H²O (Schmerber). 100% taped seams.
Patented PNF system: adjustable leg length up to 12 cm.
Kneepad: removable foam for greater comfort when kneeling in the snow.
With salopettes, the snow won't get to your back anymore. Lower leg gaiters.
3 pockets, including 1 closing chest pocket (perfect for cereal bars).
Description
The trousers have elasticated gaiters at the ankles to cover the boots. If you fall or come into contact with fresh snow, the seal created by the gaiter keeps the snow out.
To make sure you stay warm and dry, we recommend using the 3-technical-layer rule: Layer 1 or second skin, to stay dry. Layer 2 or an insulating layer, to keep the heat in. Layer 3 or a protective layer, to protect against bad weather.
The resistance of a fabric is measured by the height of a water column in mm that can be supported by the fabric (test based on the ISO 811 standard). The higher the pressure, the more waterproof the fabric. The fabric of the Salopettes 500 has a waterproof rating of 10,000 mm, meaning it is able to withstand the pressure of 10,000 mm of water. For skiing, we recommend fabrics with resistance between 3,000 mm and 10,000 mm.
To optimise the performance and durability of your salopettes, we recommend: Machine wash at 30°, synthetic programme. Turn the item inside out. Use a small amount of detergent. No softener. Spin between 800 and 1200 rpm advised. Dry flat or tumble dry. Do not dry clean. Do not place on a radiator.
