The main component is stretchy and adapts for a perfect fit around your calves. The elasticated strap also makes them easier to put on.
Supple, slim and robust, the Half Chaps 500 team perfectly with the Jodhpur Boots 500 for a harmonious rider style. The insert on the front and the curved shape mean that the half chaps fit snugly with the boots so that young riders can wear the right kit for training and competitions.
Take your measurements while barefoot. Sit with your knees at a 90° angle and take the following measurements: Step 1 (see photo): measure your calf at three points to find the widest point. Step 2 (see photo): measure the length between the floor and the bend behind your knee. Finally, compare your measurements to the size guide to find the perfect size!
This model has a fairly fitted cut. We recommend choosing the size you'll be most comfortable in, so that you feel no irritations on foot or on horseback. For instance, if I measure a 30 cm calf circumference and a 36 cm height, I should choose the 10-year size. However, if your measurements are between the 10- and 12-year sizes, I recommend choosing the larger size so that you can keep them for longer!
