Description
The upper at the forefoot is made from split leather reinforced with protective rubber. This makes the Crush500 particularly resistant to wear and tear during skateboarding tricks. Laces are protected by small leather tabs. The tongue is thick to protect the top of your foot from impacts with the board.
The cupsole is composed of 3 parts: an outsole, midsole and insole. Cupsoles are not heated, but are stitch bonded to the shoe to make them sturdier than a Vulcanized sole. This process creates a longer-lasting sole with better cushioning and resistance to wear. The support is also better than on a shoe with a vulcanised sole.
To extend the life of your skate shoes, we recommend using a shoe repair glue such as SHOE GOO II.Parts prone to wear, such as the OLLIE and FLIP zones on the upper part of the shoe, can be protected before use or easily repaired.The glue creates a protective layer against grip abrasion.This way, your skate shoes can last much longer, until the sole is worn out.
