The material resists water pressure of 2,000 mm after ageing (equivalent to 2,000 Schmerber, water pressure during a rain shower). To make the jacket even more waterproof, all the seams are taped.

A rip-tab secured pocket is accessible on the trose. Useful for storing gloves or snacks, for example. Note that this pocket is not waterproof.
