Description
We carry out 2 types of thermal testing: fleece material and thermal mannequin in a thermal chamber. These tests reproduce the mountain conditions (wind, humidity, temperature) that you might encounter. They allow us to validate our design and adjust the thermal insulation.
2 types of tests are carried out to measure the warmth level of our fleeces: - a material test - a test on a thermal dummy in a thermal chamber. Here, we reproduce the temperature, wind (5 km/h) and humidity conditions you’re likely to encounter in the mountains during a 5 km/hr walk These tests are used to validate our design choices, and everything is then validated by our testers out in the field.
This fleece jacket has a loose cut for greater freedom of movement. For greater protection from the cold, we recommend wearing a technical base layer underneath. Sweatshirt designed to be worn under our windproof/waterproof jackets. Pick your usual size.
When hiking or during other outdoor activities, it’s perfectly normal to perspire. To prevent your fleece jacket from turning into a sauna, we’ve designed it using a breathable fabric that wicks away moisture from the body. We’ve also added a zip collar for better ventilation.
Its large kangaroo pocket allows you to slide in your hands if you’re looking for a bit of warmth. It will also hold gloves or a hat.
