Powdered green clay from France
Promotes joint and muscle recovery
Can be used to create customised poultices (texture, composition)
Description
Our powdered clay allows you to create custom-made poultices (thick paste) for your horse's well-being and muscle recovery. You can also add other ingredients to the mixture if you like and if your horse enjoys it (for example: essential oils, honey, etc...) No matter the brand of clay you use, do not use metal utensils for pouring or mixing.
We recommend washing your hands before and after use. Wash the limbs to remove all traces of mud or sand. Inspect each limb to ensure there are no little cuts or scratches. Applying the clay over a cut, no matter how small, is not recommended.
We recommend mixing 2 parts clay with 1 part water and letting the paste sit for 10 minutes before applying to your horse's skin. You can adjust the dosage by adding clay to create a denser paste, or adding water for a more liquid paste. Apply a thick layer (around 1 cm) of clay, going the wrong way against the direction of the horse's coat. Once completely dry, the product will no longer have an effect (around 2 hours). Remove it with a brush or by spraying with water.
Illite, Kaolinite, Montmorillonite
