Double piston brake
A complete brake, already cut + adaptor and screws
Description
Brake fluid: Mineral Type of lever: trigger Lever mount: right Adjustment:lever Caliper mount: PM Number of pistons: 2 ceramic Adapter: for 180 mm disc Pad: Resin Colour: Black Screws supplied
The brake is provided as a J-kit and the hose needs assembling in the lever. This shape makes it easier to pass through the frame, with internal hose routing.Always tighten to the recommended torque. After installing the brakes kit, follow the bedding-in procedure. For the best braking, it's recommended that you use discs made by the same brand as your brake calipers
Bleed the brakes once per year or each time you change the pad. When changing the pads, you must bleed the brakes. When servicing your bike, make sure you don't splash any oily liquids on the disc or brakes as this will reduce their braking power.
The technicians at your Decathlon store workshop are available to help you replace the parts of your bike. Feel free to ask them for help!
