Description
It is the distance between the ground and your hands which determines the length of your clubs. At Inesis, we offer 2 sizes: SIZE 1: suitable for golfers with a ground to wrist distance less than 78.5 cm SIZE 2: suitable for men and women golfers with a hand-to-ground distance of 78.5 cm or more. We recommend a size 2 if the measurement is 78.5 cm. You can easily measure your size at home by following method you see in the video.
You’re on the fairway, just under 135 metres from the flag – which club do you choose? - 5-iron, hybrid, driver: you have a LOW SWING SPEED - 6-iron or 7-iron: you have a MEDIUM SWING SPEED - 8 iron or below: you have a HIGH SPEED We carried out a survey of 100 golfers that allowed us to divide the swings of intermediate golfers into 3 groups: slow, mid, and high speed. For each speed, we selected the shaft that will provide the best distance/accuracy ratio.
Set of 6 irons: from PW to 5-iron 5-IRON: Loft 22° - Length 37" - Lie 61.5° - Swingweight C6 - Offset 4.3 mm 6-IRON: Loft 25° - Length 36.5" - Lie 62° - Swingweight C6 - Offset 4 mm 7-IRON: Loft 28° - Length 36" - Lie 62.5° - Swingweight C6 - Offset 3.7 mm 8-IRON: Loft 32° - Length 35.5" - Lie 63° - Swingweight C6 - Offset 3.4 mm 9-IRON: Loft 37° - Length 35" - Lie 63.5° - Swingweight C6 - Offset 3.1 mm PW: Loft 42° - Length 34.5" - Lie 64° - Swingweight C6 - Offset 2.8 mm
5-IRON: Loft 22° - Length 38.25" - Lie 61.5° - Swingweight D1 - Offset 4.3 mm 6-IRON: Loft 25° - Length 37.75" - Lie 62° - Swingweight D1 - Offset 4 mm 7-IRON: Loft 28° - Length 37.25" - Lie 62.5° - Swingweight D1 - Offset 3.7 mm 8-IRON: Loft 32° - Length 36.75" - Lie 63° - Swingweight D1 - Offset 3.4 mm 9-IRON: Loft 37° - Length 36.25" - Lie 63.5° - Swingweight D1 - Offset 3.1 mm PW: Loft 42° - Length 35.75" - Lie 64° - Swingweight D1 - Offset 2.8 mm
Shaft: Recoil Dart 450 F3 Graphite - Regular 64 g S1 grip weight: 44 g Length: 26.5 cm Diameter: 2.6 cm S2 grip weight: 51 grams Length: 26.5 cm Diameter: 2.7 cm
The 500 irons have a forged face for excellent mechanical properties and therefore more power and a great feel. The hollow head makes it more refined to maximise the trampoline effect. This brings us very close to the techniques used on the drivers. Our partner UST Mamiya has enhanced its graphite shafts offering with the Recoil DART range. For the steel shaft, the 500 irons will be equipped with the XP95 from the True Temper range.
The head of the 500 irons measures 81 mm. This length is what gives the 500 irons their great forgiveness. With a larger surface to strike, you increase the size of the sweet spot, the place where the ratio of ball speed to club speed is highest. A long face also increases the club’s M.O.I. (moment of inertia), which improves the stability of the club at impact. The ball is more inclined to remain straight even when it is not hit by the centre of the face.
The "hollow body" architecture gives it the look of a more advanced club, with added forgiveness. Charles, our club designer, developed it with sleek and elegant lines. He wanted to showcase the aesthetics of the raw materials, the steel and the attention to detail: mirror polish, anodising, CNC surface refinishing, laser printing. The darkness of the tungsten creates an attractive contrast at the back of the head.
The loft of the 500 7-iron is 28°. This is around the market average for an iron for intermediate golfers. What then matters is for the difference in the distance between each club to be evenly spaced. This is why we introduced a Gap Wedge with a loft of 47° to act as the middle ground between the Pitching Wedge and the 52° (56°, 60°) wedge.
