A tailored fit for ease of movement
Description
For maintaining your fleece, place it in the machine at 30°C on a synthetic cycle, inside out and with the pockets closed. Limit the spin cycle to 1,000rpm to avoid damaging it. Tumble dry is not recommended to preserve the fabric quality.
The mission of the fleece component is to trap air thanks to the volume created by its texture (and the brushing of the knit). This air acts as a natural insulator, keeping the body warm.
This fleece jacket has been subject to thermal tests on its fleece fabric and in a climate chamber with a mannequin. These tests imitate the mountain conditions to validate our design choices.
The fleece material is designed to trap air in the space formed by its texture (qualified as “brushed fleece” when it is made of pile fabric); This air keeps the body warm thanks to its natural insulating properties.
The high-rise zip effectively protects the neck and lower face from the cold. Extending up to the chin, it minimises draughts and enhances the feeling of warmth, ensuring optimal comfort on cold days.
