Description
Our trail running jacket is equipped with a 2.5-layer membrane. The film applied to the inside of the fabric stops water coming from outside, but also wicks away perspiration. This ultra-technical component has a waterproof factor of 20,000 schmerbers and can thus withstand the pressure exerted by 20,000 mm of water. This jacket also owes its waterproofing to the assembly of its components: 100% of its seams and zips are waterproof thanks to internal strips.
The breathability of a product is measured by its Thermal Evaporative Resistance (TER). The lower the resistance (and therefore the coefficient), the more breathable the fabric. On top of that, our waterproof jacket has a breathability index of 7: we can therefore say it is very breathable! And that's just as well: why protect yourself from the water outside the jacket only to sweat more inside?
For the air to circulate freely, we have equipped this jacket with strategically placed mechanical ventilation points under the armpits and at the top of the back, but also openings at the ends of the sleeves, with wrist adjustments. A chest attachment can be combined with the front zip so you can strike the right balance between protection, moisture wicking and ventilation. Finally, the bottom of the jacket, fitted with no need to adjust, allows an air flow to circulate.
Cold weather, wind and rain taken a break? Has the sun come out? The jacket won't slow you down! The two side pockets can hold all your lightweight personal belongings (gloves, hat, snood, etc.) and have a double zip so you can fold up the jacket, squash it down and store it. Once folded up, the rectangular shape will make it discreet and easy to transport: no more uncomfortable balls in your pack!

We recommend that you machine wash on a synthetics programme (30°c), thorough rinse and slow spin. Do not use bleach and softener to wash your jacket - gentle detergent is enough. Before washing your jacket, turn it inside out, empty the pockets and close the zips as well as the velcro tabs on the wrists. Lastly, do not overload the machine and fold the garment, or mix colours.
