You can now easily organist combined shooting-based sports activities in complete safety. In any environment or location, you will be able to practise new activities based on the combination of a long-distance sport, such as running, and laser shooting. Adjust light intensity with a quick double press of the button. This lets you reduce or increase the light intensity of the target for indoor or outdoor use.
The target has a single button to switch the target on and off and select the game mode. Powered by the three AAA batteries provided. The target can also operate on mains power or from a "power bank" via the USB Type-C port 5 game modes (details below) - Hit / miss - Biathlon: 5 hits - Pentathlon: 5 hits in 50 seconds - Random - Speed THE USB Type-C PORT CANNOT BE USED TO CHARGE THE TARGET OR RECHARGEABLE BATTERIES
This accessory reduces the size of the target from 60 mm to 30 mm. Several possible uses. - If you do not have enough room to set up the targets at a distance of 10 m, the reducer makes shooting from 5 m as difficult as shooting from 10 m - You can adjust the difficulty for two users shooting at a target from the same distance (e.g., a child and an adult, beginners and intermediate shooters) - Working on precision and aiming.
We worked to on set up a digital platform to help people understand how the product works and how to improve their shooting skills. This website is accessible here: https://www.decathlon-laser-shooting.fr; It features photos, videos, tutorials, technical data sheets and instructions, so that you can quickly learn how to practise this activity.
It offers the benefit of total safety prior to, during, and after the practice. The gun is not a weapon and does not fire projectiles. It uses a grade 1 laser, which is safe for users and bystanders. This opens up the possibility of shooting practice in many settings. No particular measures are necessary for storage and security (excluding theft) No state diploma specific to shooting is required for this activity.
Shooting and : - running - swimming - cross-country skiing - roller-skiing - cycling - many cross-training exercises - orienteering - scootering - horseback riding. The possibilities are many and varied, and it is up to you to choose which cardio activity to combine with the focus-based skills required for shooting! A real challenge!
The target and the gun comply with the UIPM (Union Internationale de Pentathlon Moderne) technical standard . It is possible to use the gun with a target of another brand, provided that it also complies with the UIPM standard. Similar feature for the target, which will detect all shots from guns operating with the UIPM code DOES NOT WORK WITH LASER BULLETS FOR SHOOTING SIMULATION
Mode 1: hit miss => hitting in the black area means the target turns green and then back to red. Mode 2: biathlon => each successful shot lights up a green LED for up to five hits then back to the start
At the first successful shot, a timer of 50 seconds starts, all the LEDs light up, they indicate the successful shots and the shots to be confirmed. At 40 seconds an LED flashes, it accelerates at 45 seconds and all the LEDs flash at 50 seconds to indicate end of time. The red LEDs indicate the missing shots. This mode is inspired by the rules used in laser run, the official discipline of modern pentathlon.
You will have sequences of 3 seconds to shoot following a random cycle of 2 to 5 seconds. When all the red LEDs light up, you must perform the shot, if the shot is successful the LEDs turn green, if the shot is missed the LEDs stay red and go out. The shooting sequences occur randomly. Prepare to shoot with your gun and arm at 45°, as soon as the red lights come on, shoot.
You must make 5 successful shots to finish the cycle. At each stage of 5 shots you will have one second less to complete the next one. At the first successful shot, you have 5 seconds to make the second shot. Then you have 4 seconds for the third, 3 seconds for the fourth and only 2 seconds for the last. If you fail to complete the shot within the time limit, you return to the lower level.
We tested the product at a temperature of -20°C for 96 hours and +60°C for 7 days, without the operating conditions being affected.
