Squash rear, single set up with a 10" fiberglass central fin.
Not very pronounced rocker for easier take-offs. . Double concave at the back.
Hand-laminated epoxy resin construction. 2 x 5 mm wooden struts.
6.5 kg without fins.
Təsvir
Best in small waves peaking at hip level. Generous shape makes paddling and setting off easy, whatever the conditions. Avoid very hollow waves. The handling of a longboard requires skill, so this board is not for beginners. Those who weigh more than 80 kg will enjoy this board on small waves. Lighter surfers can even try their hand at nose riding.
Jeremy Smith (Hendaye)
TAIL: SQUARE Tail => More radical rail-to-rail transition BOTTOM: Concave to double concave => The concave at the front helps improve the speed of the board when it is flat (when taking off for example). The double concave provides control and softens the behaviour of the board. ROCKER: Low (6.4%) Makes it easier to take off on the wave and lets you move on the board
Volume (L) 74 Weight (kg ) 6.5 +/- 200 gr Dimensions (inches) 9'4" X 23" X 3" 1/8 Dimensions (cm ) 284 X 58 X 8
Hand-laminated with epoxy resin on an EPS foam pad for added robustness and dent resistance. EPS core 30 kg/m3 2 x 6 oz fibreglass layers on top + 1 x 4 oz layer 1 x 4 oz layer + 1 x 6 oz layer on the bottom 2 x 6 oz layers on the rails Epoxy resin. 2 x 5 mm paulownia wood stringers.
We chose this type of construction for our surfboards, because it offers numerous advantages. The epoxy resin is more resistant to impacts and dents than polyester resin, which makes the board more robust. The board is more reactive and can gather more speed The EPS foam (expanded polystyrene) floats better, meaning that, for the same volume, you have more buoyancy than with a polyester /polyurethane board.
Comes with a 10" fiberglass honeycomb fin on Us Box. The further forward the fin is in the box, the more manoeuvrable the board will be. The further back it is, the more drive you get.
Be sure to adjust the length of the string that connects the leash to the plug so that the rail saver (protection strap) is resting on the edge of the board.
The board has a Flexi Hex® honeycomb case inside a sturdy box. This case is reusable in your surfing cover to protect it while transporting.
