This UV-resistant top features two drawstrings at the hips, allowing you to connect the sides of the top to the bottom of your swimsuit to keep both securely in place as the waves roll in. The drawstring can also be used to adjust the fit of the top slightly. A loop at the bottom of the top can also be used to attach it to swim shorts or leggings.
Our UV tops are designed for surfers who want to enjoy the pleasures of the water. This UV-protection t-shirt designed for surfing is also suitable for other water sports such as swimming, kitesurfing, windsurfing, wakeboarding, water skiing, sea wading or SUP (stand up paddleboarding).
The fabric of this UV-resistant product blocks at least 98% of UVB radiation and 95% of UVA (UPF 50+). This guarantees effective protection from the sun. It can be used both in and out of the water, for water or nautical sports. The density of the textile fibres filters out UV rays, for long-lasting protection, even after washing. Warning: the elastane in the fibres may deteriorate in chlorinated water.
All our UV-protection t-shirts are UPF 50+. In other words, they offer the highest level of sun protection. The choice between them will therefore be made based on the length of the sleeves and will depend on what it will be used for. The constraints are greatest for surfing so we decided to build our range primarily for surfing. You should make your choice according to the duration of your sessions: 1 hour, 2 hours or 3 hours.”
