This fleece keeps your personal belongings close at hand thanks to its two secure zipped pockets. In addition, the hood is cleverly designed to be stored in a special pocket specifically for this purpose.
The high density fleece material effectively captures the air, creating an insulating layer that retains heat. With the addition of wrist cuffs and a hood to block out the snow, you’re sure to stay warm, even in cold weather.
This fleece, equipped with side inserts and a back opening, ensures optimal moisture evacuation. Its quick-drying polyester with a RET of 3 guarantees moisture management and thermal insulation.
The breathability of a fabric is measured by its evaporative resistance RET (ISO 11092 standard): The lower it is, the more breathable the fabric. Examples: RET< 9 (very breathable), 9 < RET < 12 (breathable), RET > 20 (low breathability). This fleece jacket has a RET index of 3.
Please note: water-repellent doesn’t mean waterproof. With water-repellent fabric, light rain runs off without getting inside. So the garment stays light and breathable. On this fleece, the hood, shoulders and sleeves benefit from this property. Perfect for keeping your upper body as dry as possible.
To restore your fleece’s water-repellent properties, use the reactivating spray (ref 8800346). Apply evenly and spread it with a dry cloth. Leave your fleece to dry for several hours and it will be ready for your next outdoor adventure!
To wash your fleece jacket in a machine while protecting it, opt for a synthetic programme at 30°C. Turn it inside out and check the pockets are closed. Reduce the spin speed to 1000 rpm to preserve the fabric. Do not tumble dry.
